Accountability

When governments overreach, ignore their own rules and procedures and the wishes of the community. They need to be held accountable.

Restitution

VARA protects artists’ moral rights, the value of their work, and their contributions to the story of our city. Every mural is a chapter in an artist’s career. Restitution helps prevent future destruction.

Preservation standards
